There is a holster and belt maker who's work is truly innovative. His name is Jim Speidel and his website is:
www.thebeltman.net
He has created interchangable leather accesories that use snap straps to place them on the belt. You can use his belts, holsters and ammo carriers in any combination. Better still is that you can place them anywhere on the belt. I saw his belts last week and they impressed me because they are almost 1/4 inch thick.
The item that most intrigued me was the large, snap strap fastening, cartridge loop array for Cowboy Action competitions. I'm not a competitor, but the design impressed me.
He doesn't say it by name on his website, but Jim was with Wild Bill's before starting his own place.
