Lew Horton 44 maggie FOR SALE-- or might trade for something interesting + a ton of $

Hi Gang;
Finally decided to sell my Lew Horton 3 in barrel 44 maggie. Blued, in about 98-99% shape. Price will reflect that, as there were only approximately 10,000 of these made in the mid-late eighties. Lew Horton ordered a special run of these from S&W. Round finger groove wooden grips, smooth combat trigger, and checkered target hammer. I don't know how many rounds I've put through it, as I didn't keep track. Yep, it's been shot, but well cleaned and oiled once in a while :) Adjustable rear white outline sight, and red ramp front. El slicko trigger pull double action, but stock springs.
This is not for the timid handgun shooter, as it is a handfull with full power maggie loads. The barrel is so short, it is called
" The Flare Gun", for obvious reasons. However, for a backup, or a first line of defense it probably cannot be beaten by much of anything you'd hold in your hand.
Price is $450 + shipping to your FFL, or face to face here in Crystal River, Florida. I 'might' be interested in some sort of interesting trade for a rifle. I lean towards military style things, such as Carbines, Garands, Krags, Trapdoors, ect.

Alright Dave! You really screwed up now!

You posted this ad in the wrong place! Now I have no other choice but to punish you severely...

I'm buying that dang gun from you. Hah! Take that!

BTW, the secret to these short barreled flame throwing .44 mags is to shoot .44 Specials in them. I have a Trail Boss (or whatever it is called) that makes even ME look good shooting it when I put .44 Specials through it. Heavy bullet, fast powder seems to be the combo.

Later....
