never really helps anyone in a combat situation or even in learning how to shoot properly. marksmanship skills of really good shooters don't come from the BS spewed forth from a diarrhea mouth but rather from going to the range and shooting under the guidance of a good instructor. If you really want to become a versatile shooter, then fire different types of weapons regularly. You can learn from one how to fire another, but it is not until you actually fire that other one that you get the feel for it, and know that you have gotten it right.

Besides being a good way to learn it is fun as all heck, something that a person who is forbidden to possess firearms just cannot understand - are you with me ex-con felon?

Your comment about firing different types of weapons makes me giggle.A couple of weeks ago I was at the range.I had been shooting both my Ruger MKII & 1911 regularly.I thought I'd try something different so I brought my Beretta.I had bought it 10 years ago,put a couple of mags thru it & put it away.Wellllll,I kinda forgot about the decocking lever.:shrugs:It was kinda embarassing until I figured out what the problem was.

even BETTER advise is to not HAVE guns that require different "manuals of arms". If u could forget it in practice, the stress of combat is at least TEN times more likely to cause you to forget it. As I said before, Jim Cirillo forgot to work his pump action once, and if it could happen to a veteran of 19 gunfights, it can most CERTAINLY happen to YOU.

I've got THOUSANDS of hours logged at the range, dumbass, and thousands more logged at dryfiring and handling. YOU make it to top twenty in the world yet? How about Top Ten in the US? Win any local or state matches? So WHO is all mouth, and who's been there and done that, punk?

Hey pos braggart, I have told you before that my wife and kids are away on vacation. You have 1 1/2 weeks to get your lard butt to my local range at Uniondale, NY to meet with me to have a match at the local range. Nothing fancy - just a match out to 25 yards is all the range can handle. By the way, you will have to agree on a stock out of the box pistol. No fancy trigger jobs or other work to give you an edge, no special sights, just a normal combat style pistol that retails for under $750. Can you handle that?

Are you coming? You always boast and brag here is your chance to beat me badly. You may beat me, but are you willing to take the chance of being defeated. I am willing to do just that because my ego will not crash if you beat me. I know I am not the best shot in the USA or the world, but maybe you ought to learn that about yourself. Chances are you would whimper like a little bad boy who just got spanked if I beat you or if I even came close to doing it. The thing is I made this offer to you months ago, and you still have not taken me up on it. It still stands. You have all that money to bet $5,000 to $500 that you can beat people. Well here is a chance not to even loose any money on a bet. Just buy a cheap round trip ticket and come east. If you win I'll buy you a beer and some dinner and let everyone on this site know about it. If you lose, well you figure what to do. I know, while we are at it we can video tape the whole event. Any date before the 23rd August is fine by me. Hope to see you soon.

Oh crap I forgot, aren't you the convicted ex-felon or something like that. You aren't allowed to shoot anything but your mouth are you. That must be why you don't take me up on the offer, I cannot imagine that there could be any other reason with a greatness the likes of you. Then again, if you can legally shoot, here I am waiting for that match.

Doesn't matter Glenn, he's a coward.

He was top ten in IPSC when there were only 8 people competing.

And he turned someone else down that offered to pay his way to come and WATCH someone shoot, nothing that violated his parole, and he pussed out.
