Anyone know a good reference for the following:

• "How to" use a vernier sight -- for dummies
• .50BMG (specifically, Barret/IMI loads) ballistics data

Well, there are a lot of sites that can give you detailed info on the Vernier sights... just google it.

As for the ballistics data... which round do you want to know about?

The actual Barrett 633gr ball ammo -- made by Israeli Military Industries...

The Barrett 633 grain ball ammo is loaded to US military spec... here is what I have...

MV: 2850 fps
Max effective range: 1800 meters (according to Barrett)

Load data: 235 grains of WC860 at 55,000 CUP. OAL is 5.45"

I don't have my drop charts with me but it shouldn't be hard to figure out if you have the math do make one.
