rig, but that was when I worked at the speed rig a lot, and I automatically positioned the gun IWB perfectly. After 12 years of no practice, not even dryfire or handling, I lost a bit of that nuance, so the Mexican carry was a bit slower than a rig It wouldn't take all that long to get it back. A few hours a day, for maybe a week.

For what its worth ,at one time I carried an Argentino HP(Fabrica Miltar production)in a n in -the pants rig behind the hip.If by Mexican carry (with or without a holster)this is what your referring to,I found it useful at the time.I never tried it for speed draw s,although it was comfortable for carrying a piece of that shape and size as far as I was concerned.I am a little on the thin side;so I never really tried to carry a service piece without a rig(or for that matterwith a rig in the pants )every day.I usually found the need for some type of suspenders just to keep the old pants up over the hipbones.For HP's and lighter/smaller though,it worked pretty good.
