barrel, and some of it's well under 750 fps in a 3.5" barrel. the latter is a pathetic 280 ft lbs, man, and ZERO expansion of any hp. Put such loads in an AMT backup, about same size as a 380,. and you get under 250 ft lbs. A locked Breech 380 can be safely handloaded to deliver over 300 ft lbs, and really expand a good jhp, too. and it is about half the size and wt of a .45 Backup, ferchrissakes, no 20 lb DAO trigger, either.
