...after a 6 week vacation in Europe with his mom and sister. It sure will be nice to have them all home. (Especially since they will be shocked to see a super clean house - I just got done with that thank you Windex - now the wife can do some cleaning and I can have a time for a cocktail!)

Oh well, back to gun stuff. So my son will be home and I owe him a Ruger 10/22 All Weather version if he still wants it. He also has his mind set on a gas powered remote control race car. He has one of them he recently bought with his own money. At about $400 to $450 for the car, I hope he decides on the Ruger. Or Maybe I can get him a Remington 597 and give him the hundred I'll save instead of what I would have paid for a Ruger. He can then save up the rest for the car from his allownace and money he earns.

I am hopeful I can get to the range with him soon too, but I'll be working the RNC for 10 days and have to be available for work 24/7. That sucks a big one, since it it starts tomorrow for me, the day after they get back.

Oh well, if nothing else it will be nice to have my best shooting buddy back home with me - we can talk about his vacation and our future shooting plans.

All the best,
Glenn B

If I am lucky will will get my daughter to come along before she heads back to college, and if really lucky we will talk my wife into joining us (but I kind of doubt that one, she is pretty resistant).
