pistol in over 20 years, (altho nearly all of that in the last 3 years) and he can run a sub 9 second, ccw El Presidente, all hits in the C zone, most in the A zone, using a lw Commander 9mm, any time you'd care to bet real money that he can't. The reason for that is many- fold. He had tremendous ability 20 years ago, El Prez is mostly a matter of a draw and a mag swap, both of which can be practiced mostly with dryfire, and for which .22 unit practice suffices just fine. He has fired maybe 5,000 rds of .22lr(thru pistols) in the past 20 years, nearly all of that within the past 3 years. He also never did a lot of work with non-SA autos, and what of it he did indulge in, he was smart enough to do with his non-SA auto hand. He was also born left handed, but was taught to do many things right handed, so he's pretty ambi-dextrous. He practiced, and does practice 'mentally", and he's a student of efficient training and movement.
If you "think" that a full El Prez, 10 yds range, starting hands at shoulder height, facing up range, from REALISTIC concealed carry (ie, no bs about an open coat) and a real size and wt ccw pistol, in 9 secs, 'cold" , with such hits, is "easy", you TRY it sometime. 9 seconds is very competitive indeed, and NOBODY would bet much at getting it under 7 seconds, under such conditions. FEW would even bet a month's pay on getting it under 8 seconds. By few, I mean a FEW HUNDRED on the face of the earth.
