He can't control ANY recoil because of his flinching problem and lack of 20 years of practice, so ha needs every crutch he can get.
Wax is better than the little gun with the cork in the end of the barrel that mommy lets him carry.

Personally I barely find time to handload REAL ammo much less wax ammo. So if I have to build something I want something that I can use for practice or competition or ........

CCI used to make plastic bullets that just pushed into the case. You had to drill out the primer pocket a bit to keep the primer from setback. I don't know of they make them anymore. Sure better than wax!
With the cost of 9mm today and pleny of .22 understudies, really I would not spend time with wax bullets. That's old old stuff.
