Joined a new indoor range Thursday down in Alton. In a old building, club has been there since 1938, bunch of old timers there. Nice an clean an hardly nobody shoots there anymore. Will test it out Tuesday depending on the weather, iced up around here right now.

What's the ventilation like, a new indoor range in our town opened up about 3 months ago, backstop built to federal guidelines but they cheaped out on the ventilation. I've had elevated blood lead levels 3 times and would not look kindly on it once more.

Seems like a good system they have installed. Sounds like a hurricane when running. Bad thing is it sucks in the cold outside air. Will only use it during bad weather when rain or cold makes outdoor range in Litchfield out of the question. And it will give me a place to test anything I buy in that area.

Price on ranges here. Litchfield, IL is 125.00 a year, they have everything included, also has a small lake. Nice clubhouse, 3 trap ranges, about 20 pistol stations, 5 benchrest benches. A cowboy range built like a house an a saloon. Rifles can shoot to 300 meters. All kinds of matches on weekends.
Indoor range cost me 60..00 for half a year. pistol an rimfire rifles only.
Several other clubs an ranges nearby, all are about same price. Prices are US dollars.

Tested the indoor range yesterday, it was ok. No one else shooting but cold in there. Plenty of lighting but still hard for me to see, think I need glasses. Will just use it in bad weather.
