moving someplace where the weather's almost always nice, or I can get it to be nice by driving 50 miles. :) Here, it's too damned hot for 6 months of the year and too cold for 3 months of the year. To hell with that. Once she can get a decent salary anywhere and my own income is secure at a clear 60k per year, going where the scenery is superb, weather is almost always nice, and where there's a LOT less people per square mile.

Do they allow convicts to move state to state? Do you have to check in with Law Enforcement at your new home? Do you have to check in monthly?

Garand- IIRC, unless someone is a registered sex offender and has been cut loose from all probation and parole programs. Including state and federal.

Plus whatever other early release/halfway house programs out there that's it.

If John is getting anything from a federal program he'd have to let them know of a change off address but that's not asking permission.

Now if someone has be adjudicated as needing supervision that's different, not saying John has either, just including that.

Terry G probably has kept more informed of this stuff than I as I've not had any reason to keep up with that end of a criminals "career" in a long time.

I've been off paper since october of 2014 I can go anywhere I wish. I just told you dumbasses I went to ASIA to get a wife. I can go to Canada if I wish, too. It's just a question of mountain biking across the border someplace with no checkpoint and having a decent fake ID. Since 30 million illegals have such an ID, how "hard" do you think they are to get, hmm? :) A white man, keeping to himself, and keeping his mouth shut, attracts little to no attention in Canada.

If you are no longer restricted by your criminal past, why would you be stupid enough to enter another country illegally?

Definitely not Canada, not legally. You need a passport and they do a computer check for felonies. Last year they asked for a passport and a drivers license.

next year, when Wifey's an RN moving someplace where the weather's almost always nice... ...Here, it's too damned hot for 6 months of the year and too cold for 3 months of the year. To hell with that... ...going where the scenery is superb, weather is almost always nice...
So because middle-USA is both too hot and too cold, and your wife will be making RN money (which is a good thing), you're going somewhere where the weather is "almost always nice". Okay, sure, why not? Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

And to achieve the goal of nice weather and enjoying your wife's success (which there's nothing wrong with), the two of you mountain bike illegally into Canada, to live the life of illegal aliens..?
...can go to Canada if I wish, too. It's just a question of mountain biking across the border someplace with no checkpoint and having a decent fake ID.
Never mind the hypocrisy of the fact that you've said that people who cross national borders should be shot; you plan to live with no legal status, no passport, just a fake US id card, let's just look at the goal itself; specifically this "nice weather" you talk about.

I don't know if you've ever been to Canada, but I have many times, having grown up close enough to drive there just for an ice cream. (There was some all-you-can-eat fish & chips place that we used to go to in Ontario in the 70's, but I can't recall the name now) If the continental US heartland is too cold for you several months of the year, you will NOT find Canada's weather to be "nice". Been there, done that; even Wisconsin was colder than I liked, and I grew up in Michigan. Leaving Illinois or Oklahoma to chase the dream of "nice" Canadian weather is a very bad plan.

... A white man, keeping to himself, and keeping his mouth shut, attracts little to no attention in Canada.
Another reality check John - do you really believe that being low-key and "keeping your mouth shut" are really your strengths; behaviors that you'd be able to maintain 24/7 for years on end?

{edit - to clarify, it should be "...you've said that people who illegally cross national borders should be shot..." Because you have said that. You've even said it would be fun to shoot people for doing so.}

I think our excitable old boy got "The Caribbean" mixed up with Canada maybe???🙄
Maybe he can ride a bike to it with a tall enough snorkel?🤣

Melvin would be turning himself into the nearest border agent for a ride home after spending 15 minutes in a Canadian winter.

For reference:
...I can go to Canada if I wish, too. It's just a question of mountain biking across the border someplace with no checkpoint and having a decent fake ID.
...Anyone who "thinks" we can't find people who'll fire on illegals is living in a fantasy world. The shooting would be fun, actually.
JMD - you say yourself that doing what you talk about doing is not only worthy of the death penalty, but worthy of summary execution without a trial; without even an arrest for that matter. How do you reconcile that..?

I think he's got some half assed idea that it'd be condoned by the government at some point.
Another psycho fantasy of his.
I'll admit knowing for sure and taking out known human traffickers that are known to have committed rape, murder and drug smuggling gives me the warm fuzzies.
But shooting their victims also....that just makes me want to puke.
