at ALL, much less Fed restrictions of militia, or the 2nd Amendment. The unregulated militia is supposed to have ANY "bearable" weapon that the cops or the military has. NOTHING in the Constitution says felons are not part of the militia. In fact, there WAS no Fed law about "ex felon with a gun" until the GCA of 1968. In the West, the prison officials were REQUIRED BY LAW to give a released inmate a horse, saddle, gun, ammo, and a $20 Gold pc, in the 1800's, LONG after the Constitution was passed.

With all respect, I ask who will diagnose a person as being mentally deficient. Is a person mentally deficient if they believe in God, in the Constitution, in defending himself and his family or maybe just the person who believes in freedom and wants to be left alone. Perhaps everyone should be tested for mental problems as they are trying to do in Illinois?

If a person has been judged to be mentally deficient in a public trial where he has had opportunity to defend himself, that is one thing. To be judged mentally incapable to own or handle a gun by a private psychologist or bureaucrat is very different. Of course the person who brags about shooting or torturing small animals exhibits behavior which should come under close scrutiny of competent professionals. The prospect of someone arbitrarily determining that a person cannot own guns because of something so vaguely defined as their mental state scares hell out of me.

Last thing. I understand that the govt has used the VA medical records of Viet Nam and Gulf War veterans to deny them the purchase of guns by failing them on the NICS.

Actuall, Sice the Constitution does not PROHIBIT federal cops, and since Congress can pass laws, The constitution does allow Federal Cops to exist.

As far as ex felons with guns, I don't have a problem with that, as long as plea bargins and early releases are done away with. (You've either been punished or you haven't)

As far as wannabe hitlers, you are the one that keeps talking about killing people...

You haven't shown anybody up on anything, and the one whom most would agree is a pos, is you. You reveal yourself with every single post you make like this one.

Again, you're the one who has made numerous posts that involve killing people, destroying rockets, wrecking the economy, etc. Sounds like you're the wannabe Hitler.

I do like how you think you've done so much, especially when you get your head handed to you with each assinine post you make, which is the majority of them.

but, if it helps you to sleep at night knowing how better you are than anyone else, then good for you.

Ya know, Andy,I gotta agree with you on this:If you're such a problem that you can't be "trusted", why aren't you locked up? If the offense was so terrible that you need a lifetime can tied to your tail....same question. Plenty of people deserve what they got from the judge, plenty did'nt.I guess this ties in with the " we incarcerate people for too much lightweight $hit;we gotta release murderer/rapist/skinner#134526.." you get the idea. The notion of "keeping people tracked(trapped) by the system probably gave more than a few of the apparatchniki a big warm fuzzy.

As to mental illness you need to be adjudicated mentally ill to lose your right to keep and bear arms under federal laws in the USA.
