Some people are very much unaware of what lead costs these days. GK recently had a guy give him a 3 gallon bucket full of wheelweights. That's 100+ lbs, and lead brings 30c a lb at the scrap yard and they SELL it to you for $1.20 per lb. It will clean up to maybe 60 lbs of good lead. Some of them are zinc, steel, aluminum, or the adhesive kind, which aint w a s for making bullets. Have to add a bit of tin and antimony for 9mm slugs, if using the 125 gr mold. 60 lbs will make 3000 such slugs. would cost 7c each if bought by the thousand.
