I see that this is a big issue in Conneticut in that they have a proviso that you need a permit to carry open or concealed. I've never heard of this. It's yahoo news, so don't quote me.

Hmmmmm here in Arkansas we technically have open carry but some places still have or are gun/weapon free zones.

Mostly I prefer concealed carry but in a few cases like out on the water in a canoe or kayak on a snake infested river, most of the state here, I'd like the ability to open carry with a revolver loaded with at least 2 chambers of snake shot.
