I have read over the forms these past few days and I noticed a trend to hate .223 fan.

Well let me start by saying I am a peaceful person by nature, I never make threats but I NEVER back down from one! I try to be nice and kind to every one UNLESS they attempt to harm my friends, me, or my family. I also give second chances (that do NOT mean I give warning shots).


This part is to .223 fan. Andy you seam to think of your self as superior to every one, that can get annoying. Also make treats and call others names. I do not believe in hitting below the belt. You seam to have a lot a knolig in guns, shooting and survival. But that attitude makes you unpopular with others.


To every one, though .223 fan my act like a jerk at times you should be ashamed at the way you talk to him. I was picked on a lot in school and have NO tolerance for bullies.

I know where you're coming from, I was picked on alot as a kid, too. John Davis, .223 Fan, whatever, really grinds me the wrong way, though. He seems way too violent for my tastes, and extremely condescending. He has no business here if all he's going to do is make posts about how much of a "dummy" I am. I didn't come here to pic a fight with him, or anyone else, never even knew who this guy was until other people started showing up. @$$holes need to be sent to Europe, that's what it's there for.

Gunkid/Andy/.223 fan has had many chances. Most fo us have dealt with him for YEARS, and started out nice with him, which was responded to with great doses of vitriol. He's been given chance after chance on literally every gun board on the 'net. He's been banned from most, often several times. That's the personal end, and doesn't really matter.

What does matter is "You seam to have a lot a knolig in guns, shooting and survival. "

He doesn't. Most of his ideas are either dangerous, illegal or both. As such, they have to be shown for what they are before someone who doesn't know better and thinks this guy has good info on guns and survival tries some of it and gets themselves hurt, arrested or killed. Understand. He does occasionally have a coherent line of thought and good advice, but it's rare (and has been speculated that due to the increase in literacy at those times, that it may be his wife posting under his nicks). But either way, be very wary of what he posts and try to sift the wheat from the chaff. Or just listen to people who have actually gone out in the field and done things.

Gun_crazy_jr - you have stated you don't back down from threats. Good, 'cause neither do we.

GK has threaten to kill or injure many of us many times.

We have watched him post information that has been everything from flat out wrong, ilegal, dangerous, both, or simply a lie.

He has given advice in the past to someone, suggesting they sell drugs to raise money to buy guns.

He openly boasts about shooting dogs and cats just to see the effects of shooting them. (I don't beleive his claims, unless he is a bad shot - every coyote I've ever shot with a pistol didn't go anywhere.)

He has advocated loads that if you followed his advice, you would undoubtedly end up with peices of your gun embedded in your flesh, or worse.

If you disagree with him, you're a stupe. If you point out where he has lied or is flat out wrong and provide proof, then he will threaten you.

If you are a knowledgeable female, he will attack and insult (The "C" word comes to mind) tp try and distract from the fact that hes been shown up by a woman.

He probably IS the John Davis that was a top shooter in the early days of ipsc. All that means is he was fast back then. Doesn't mean he knows anything. only means he was fast once.

He IS and admitted felon. That in of itself is no big deal. He likes to throw it your face. He openly advocates causing the death of innocents to "bring the economy down" - this is a popular theme with him and it will surface from time to time.

He will talk about busting his buddies out of prison and destroying the country.

He likes to issue really stupid challenges, usually such that you run the risk of death or serious injury if you take him up on it. This way he can be sure that nobody will accept the challenge. Unfortunately, there's a couple of his to the death type challenges that HAVE been accepted, but he's too scared to show up for HIS bet.

If you are really successful in pointing out where he's wrong, he will decide that you're just 'JJ' under a different name. (everyone who disagrees with him is really only one person named JJ).

Like you, I don't respond well to threats and don't back down. He has threatened me more than once. However, since it's clear he won't or can;t back up his threats, it's all just posturing on his part.

I have offered, and the offer still stands, to pay his way to SMTC so he can watch people doing all the things he claims are impossible. (this too was part of one of his stupid bets)

I stayed out of his posting here for quite a while, until he started up some of his old crap again, plus I have a number of friends that are now posting here. I'd rather keep in touch with these people.

If GK can behave, I'm willing to ignore him. When he spouts BS, there's a bunch of people that won't hesitate to point it out.

I would expect people to do the same to me. If I spout BS, I would expect people to call me on it.

GK is very lucky that we aren't out to get him. I suspect much of his postings would be in violation of his parole, and if nothing else would lengthen the time of his parole if not send him back to jail.

We pretty much know where he lives, who he works for, etc.

Some people have actually seen him - he's not at all the threat he tries to make himself out to be.

Anyway, I've rambled on enough.

Hope this provides some perspective.

MOST dogs will run a ways, with a chest hit, with ANY ccw pistol and FACTORY available load, after a chest hit. ANYONE can check this out. If you've shot any at ALL, it must have been with a Contender and 243 softpoints, or head shots, cause the others let them RUN.

Anyone can see who knows what, and who IS what here. My posts speak for themselves. Anyone with ANY field experience knows what an advantage suppressors, rapidfire, lw, compact, concealable guns are, as well as speed of first hit, etc. Those who claim otherwise are either just ignorant or LYING.

To Gunkid: Sheesh. You've been talking to your sock puppet again. Your inability to hit accurately with those pot metal toys you call guns isn't our fault. A good hit with the proper caliber handgun will anchor a dog sized animal easily.

I've caught you in numerous lies, and posted the proof of such. Please post one example where I've lied, along with proof that consists of more than you just saying so.

The coyotes I shot with a pistol, were shot with a .45 officers model. They dropped within 10 ft of where they were shot. I freely admit I've only shot 4 with a pistol.

I still say your problem is shot placement. You may be fast, but it's pretty clear you don't quite have the placement thing figured out yet, like the time you claimed the .308 was worthless because you shot a rabbit in the leg with it and it didn't die.

Normally I use either a .223 (I've seen them run a long ways after being hit with a .223) or my .280 (they don't run very far with a .280).

On occasion I use my .338 just to maintain skill hitting small moving targets with it.

One of the longest runs a coyote has had, that I recovered, was hit with a .223 (nosler ballistic tip) It ran quite a ways with its intestines in trail before dying. It was a poorly placed shot that hit too far back on the yote. I've also had one of the shortest runs from a coyote hit with a .223. I drilled it between the eyes and it dropped in place without even taking a step.

Yes, your posts do speak for themselves, quite nicely. Unfortunately for you, most of them don't paint a very favorable picture.

I'm impressed. You managed to keep your post fairly civil, only calling me a punk and a liar. No threats this time?

Anyway, please fell free to give any examples of where I have lied on this or any other board. I can certainly provide such about you if I choose to.
