Instead, get a shooting timer and start building speed of hitting, both with the first shot and subsequent shots, from either shoulder, and with either hand, in darkness, on movers, while moving, from awkward positions, while using cover, etc. Far more entertaining than just moving tin cans around, and mostly missing them, and a lot more relevant to any real need for a gun. You can get stress-relief from mere exercise, from meditation, from a good sex partner, etc. Range time should be spent LEARNING useful things.

Since you can't go to the range, I guess that's why you haven't learned anything since you went to the klink the first time eh?

Plinking is wonderful shooting. It is fun and beneficial to the shooter. For many shooters this is the only form of shooting at three dimensional targets they get. It can help hone your small game hunting shooting. It is a fine and fun way to teach new shooters how to... All of this regardless of what the so called self appointed shootist says....
