ie, 55 gr Split Nose, 2000-2100 fps. However, I'd rather have the 2200 fps and 600 ft lbs of the 356 TSW. Why not? No big deal, just get a spare barrel and have it rechambered. The ability to get temporary cavity damage of chest organs, without said organs being hit by the bullet frags,is pretty marginal at 2000 fps. So is the reliable creating of adequately deep wound tracks,by the front 2 frags of the 3 segmented Split Nose bullet. 2000 fps is also crowding such abullet's ability to reliably pierce Kevlar armor and the torso behind said armor.

You know, if you ever have to pop someone and they find the casing, figuring out who did the shooting will be a LOT easier when you're one of the half dozen people left in the country still using a dead, obsolete cartridge.

I'll stick to 125-gr Gold Dots in .357 Sig for that application, they work just fine, and well, they exist. . .
