I was just wondering how the ability to buy primers are in the lower 48? The supply chain is proving bullets and propellant up here but trying to find primer is terrible. I've seen private sellers advertise for sale 1000 primers priced anywhere from $300 to $600. Talk about highway robbery!

Sorry, no help here; I haven’t shopped for primers in several years. I’m still good for primers, mainly need to do some casting before I load up more batches of ammo.

At $600 per thousand, can you get loaded ammo for that price or close to it?

After I made my first post, I seen an ad on a Canadian forum asking $1,000 for 1,000 primers, unreal. While loaded ammo is becoming available, there is not a lot of choices to pick from.

Generally I've been primers for $100 ton$150+tax at LGS and places like Cabela's/Bass Pro.

What chap's my hide is some place will only sell 1-2 boxes "to be fair" but don't have very much selection.
While some places have a great selection but only sell by the 1,000ct brick. 🙄
