Range report.
Guns fired
.22-mag marlin, model 25mn. 7 shot detachable mag.
.22 mag ruger single six
Ammo
CCI maxi maggs
50 rounds each,
I put a Bushnell 3x9x40 scope with raised scope mounts on the marlin, ( I used raised mounts so I could still use iron sights.)
The marlin use will be a all around gun. I have used it (when I had another scope on it) to kill every thing from rabbits to deer (according to the regulations book a .22 MAG is legal)
Once zeroed inn I had the marlin shooting 3 shots all in the 10 ring at 100 yards. (with scope) and 2 out of 3 in the 10 ring at 50 yards (iron sights)
