It is easy to upgrade your trigger group with Volquartson, On Target or Power custom parts, very inexpensively.
You can even order a whole trigger group from Volquartson.
If you want to go whole hog, and spend more than the rifle cost in the first place, get a kidd trigger group. Four of my 10/22's have Kidd trigger groups. They are available on the Internet for about $269.00, or there about.

The gritty trigger on your new 10/22 is called a "Lawyer trigger." When you smooth up The triggers action, It releases the manufacture from all liability, as it now is a modified gun.
