Replacement trigger group for 10/22?

1602 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Stillwater
I have two Ruger 10/22s and the trigger on both of them leaves a lot to be desired. The stainless one is abominable! Gritty and very heavy. Of course, it is the newer of the two guns. The blued one I have had for at least 20 years. And you know, now that I think of it, I have NEVER had it jam or misfire.

Rather than tinkering around with the present stock trigger set, what would be the best replacement trigger group I could get for these two rifles?

I guess while I am at it, is replacing the barrel with a good aftermarket one worth doing? I can't complain about how they shoot now, but they definitely aren't top on the list of my rifles for tight groupings.

Rich,

Get a Brownell's catalog. Volquartson, Power and Clark all make accessories to help your trigger. You can even buy replacement groups if you want.

Try this link:

All kinds of great stuff.
