Man, best have a good auto shotgun,loaded alternate slug and 000 buck for such a job, a stolen (or bought with fake ID) van, with a backup motorcyle in back, with BOB gear, with OTHER stolen plates (altered a bit) disguise, armor, handgun, AP ammo in handgun, all prints ruined with sprays of WD-40,all serial numbers of guns drilled out and welded-over, (if bought legally-tracably) vehicles bought with disguise on, and van (at least) thoroughly sprayed with gas and diesel fuel and set afire. Burn all clothing and shoes, see to it van's tires all burn REALLY well, etc.

Basically, once you make such a move, there's no going back home to the wife and house. You pack up and leave, and you are committed to the fight, until either you are killed, or you win the whole enchilada.
