action types, loads,etc, when you KNOW you aint very good with ANY of them, at realistic defensive shooting, means you will NEVER be much good, because you dont CARE enough about it to FOCUS on that, enough to ever be much good.
I was always told "The more You know, the less dangerous You become" implying that its better to have a passing familiarty with everthing than to never touch anything that You dont own/carry.
None of us know what the future brings! None of us know exactly the type of firearm will be in our hand, if we ever require one. Flexibility & versatility Melvin.
Again, I can only offer the same example as always; Jerry Miculek. He shoots "lots of guns", with "different action types", and "lots of different loads"; and according to JMD, that means a person "will never be much good". And that's an idiotic claim when there are easy examples (like Miculek) that it's simply not true.
Ain't just money.
We don't have to play silly schemes to avoid "felon in possession" charges. Even if his felony record was by some miracle expunged there's still his mental health state.
