Please SUPPORT the following two bills:

SB-1156/HB-149 SHOOTING RANGE PROTECTION by Sen. Durell Peaden & Rep. Dennis Baxley to stop the Department of Environmental Protection and other government agencies from filing lawsuits to shut down and bankrupt sport shooting ranges. This bill protects shooting ranges by requiring DEP to work with shooting ranges to utilize "Best Management Practices for Environmental Stewardship for Florida Shooting Ranges" and provides funding sources for the state to cleanup any existing shooting ranges that actually needs to be cleaned up.

SB-1152/HB-155 GUN REGISTRATION PROHIBITION by Sen. Durell Peaden & Rep. Lindsay Harrington to stop government agencies from building illegal electronic databases of firearms and law-abiding firearms owners. Exempts lists and records of firearms that are necessary for legitimate law enforcement and criminal investigations and cases involving crime guns.
