Not all shtf will be man made - here's a picture i took last friday. that's a pretty big forrest fire, seen from about 30 miles away.

Very true. Hurricanes, fault lines, Yellowstone caldera, Mount St. Helen's, all come to mind.
Man's not as absolutely in charge of this planet as many think.

While I disagree on most of their doctrines about the hereafter, Mormons REALLY have their stuff together for the here and now. I grew up around mormons and my parents eventually became mormons. Let me agree with you that a year's suppply is for those that can't afford much. Hell, I think at their weddings, they're given about that much as wedding gifts. Most of the ones I visited had basements that would make a small grocery store seem understocked.Aslan said:Here's another little tid bit for you. Around here, there are quite a few Mormons.
