rabbits with sling shot and rocks, why BOTHER with 1 MOA, bull barreled 1022, hmm? :) It's either one or the other. You either "need" more accuracy than a canned M21 Beretta .22 pocket auto offers (8" OAL, 14 ozs, can and all) or such a M21 has PLENTY of foraging potential. Since it will take rabbits to 30m, Weaver, and 45m, braced firing position, it easily has 10x the effective range of slingshot and rocks. So you are fos about "needing" accurate .22 rifle, or you are fos about the slingshot and rocks. which IS it, hmm? :)

The slingshot is a fun tool that has its place when I'm not hungry or in a hurry. Otherwise I'll take a quality full sized 22 handgun. You only imagine that people are going to rely completely on the slingshot or any other primitive weapon.

OR, it could be that skill with a sling shot could be a useful tool in your arsenal.

You may be low on ammo, you may lose or damage a firearm.

skill with either the 1022 or slingshot doesn't mean you don't need the other.

Your argument is a non-sequitor.

There may be times when it is prudent to use the slingshot. there may be times when it doesn't matter.

Only a fool would not want an accurate rifle, .22 or otherwise. (how much accuracy is a separate topic).

It only makes sense to have at least some skill with using and making a slingshot.

It's also fun to use a slingshot, as in recreation.

the M21,can and all, weighs 14 ozs.

slingshot is very little, if ANY lighter, and not even 10% as useful. So why bother with the pos? Training with the 10-22 doesn't help snapshooting skills with the fighting rifle, cause its sights, safety, mag catch, handling are so different from that of any fighting rifle. The .22 unit in the AR handles EXACTLY like the canned AR does, and any trigger job, luminous sights, , scope, can, ambi safety, folding stock, etc that you put on the AR, u have AUTOMATICALLY also put on the .22 unit, at ZERO further cost. If you do all that to your silly .30 cal rifle, you STILL have to do all of it to your 1022, wasting a lot of time and money.
Well, a slinshot can weigh almost nothing, but I'll take a bow over one as a back-up, "silent" game-getter any day. It is also quiter, when set up properly, than and canned gun mentioned. :)

10 ft? Stupekid, you ever hear of a SNARE? I swear, stupekid, you are as ignorant as a post. 10 ft? I can throw a rock and hit a rabbit past 10 ft. I can get a blowgun (not the kind stupekid uses on himself) and hit with darts past 10 ft. That's THREE paces and a bump, stupekid. But we know stupekid has a bad back,so I bet he can't hit past 6 ft.
I've got $5000, 10 rocks, says u can't

throw them, hit rabbit siluhette 9 out of 10 x. I've FORGOTTEN more about snares than you will ever LEARN, dummy. We are talking about PROJECTILE weapons. Carry BOTH a bow and a fighting rifle, right? Aint you the STUPID one. The canned M21 fits in the thigh pocket of cammies, and it IS as quiet as the bow is. In fact, it's MORE quiet, if you engage the slidelock. For the weight of a bow and some arrows, I can have nearly 1000 rds of .22lr, dummy. At any range at which you can chest hit a deer with an arrow, I can BRAIN it with the .22 unit in the AR.

Stupekid, I used to play baseball in highschool. I STILL play baseball with the local leauge! I sure as hell can hit a rabbit at 10 ft!

Stupekid, slidelock? The M21 has a safety and the slidelock holds the slide OPEN! Idiot!

And again, you don't f*u*c*K up your ONLY rifle by putting .22 [**censored**] through it! Stupekid!
no, the M21 does NOT have a slide hold open device, jerk. The slidelock is ADDED, and it DOES hold shut the slide. Just because YOU are ignorant about the .22 unit's value in the AR doesn't mean other's aren't smarter than you. In order to do both rapidfire and the "sniping' you THINK you can and want to do, you have to take apart your rifle, FREQENTLY, and for a LOT longer period of time, in order to clean the bore, than the 20 seconds it takes me to swap calibers in the AR, *****. Just because YOU can't figure out when it's ok to swap out for the .22 unit, make the shot, and swap back to 223 doesn'tmean that OTHERS don't have more ability and balls than you do. All it means is that you are DEFICIENT in those categories.
I"ve got $5000 to your $500 that says you can't take 5 rabbits with thrown rocks ,in a WEEK of doing NOTHING else but trying to do so. Plenty of rabbits here, so put your money where your MOUTH is. :)
u BELIEVE every bs thing you see posted about me, don't ya? I have never had a bad back.:) I work constantly on my abs, too. I can do 10 1 legged squats, holding onto a post with one hand, on either leg, any time you'd like to see it, too.
