snubs was a fine choice for a belt fed gunner, in Korea,instead of a smithed up P35, full of soft cast, lrn 125 bullets,hollow pointed, and driven to 1100 fps.
Skeeter knew enough to stipple the straps, remove the mag safety, fit an overtravel screw and better sights to the P35, polish its feed ramp, test its mags with a given load, and add a speed lever to the P35's thumb safety. As desperate as things are when a MACHINEGUNNER needs a pistol, a couple of .38 snubs aren't going to help much.
