Snares are an invaluable tool for survival. Sometimes the snare wire can get twisted up but the lock and swivel and the rest is reusable. The twisted wire is cheap; that along with the parts and a good pair of pliers will make new snares. In fact you can make a lock out of a penny. I personally have a couple of deer sized snares in my kit 'just in case'.

Todd, I would get at least a couple. $4.00 is cheap compared to peace of mind. At the least, you can have the lock so you can duplicate it at home and make more from your other materials.

This place is great. I've done business with them; they deliver quickly and are honest with good prices.
