saw some dead bodies, so what? That's all a typical 'combat vet" can TRUTHFULLY say he ever did. The Pentagon says that 90% of the Nam vets never saw PERSONAL combat. They may have been under morter or rocket attack, may even have been blown up by a mine, hit a booby trap, etc, but what does THAT do for their ability to shoot well under STRESS, hmm? Nothing, that's what. Ditto the cops, who ganged up on one guy, who probably had a single shot, EMPTY.
