Now Andy, tell me really, what do you have to do with my apology to Rich Z? Wait, let me tell you - you have absolutely nothing to do with this matter, but of course just like any little spoiled child you seemingly cannot keep from being in the spotlight and have to push yourself into everything while trying to make yourself the center of the universe and kill daddy while doing it (I think that is the Oedipus complex that is common among 5 year olds). Maybe someday someone somewhere (probably with the mind of a 6 year old or younger) will praise you as a god, but I will never do that to someone like you who I see as a pos like you. As for my apology to Rich Z, well that was an apology for the way I had my interaction with Rich Z, for the way I made it personal, and for the way I treated him. All of that and the apology has nothing to do with you at all. My complaints about the way you posted and all of that were valid at the time I made them. I still feel likewise about you in that I still think you are a pompous, self satisfying, buffoon; however, I have adapted. I ahve changed my way of addressing you and your issues, I am a true survivor. Instead of doing unto others as I would have them do unto me, I am doing onto you as you have already done onto me but with a twist that I think you cannot match. I answer your posts with the same nastiness that you have exhibited over and over again, and I answer your posts with some higher intelligence (that is what I believe to be the twist that you cannot match). I figure I am doing a pretty good job of it too, judging by the comments of the others on this site. Is the child inside of you is in a tizzy. I guess either you will get worse, get nice, or just start crying (actually my guess is a temper tantrum then crying).
You see I don't care whether or not you do or do not know more than me about gunsmithing, or about ballistics. I do not care that you claim to know more about tactics, or that you claim to be one of the greatest has-been shots in the world, or that you were possibly a convicted felon, or that you claim to have broken out of jail or otherwise escaped, or that you claim to be some sort of a survivalist and all that other stuff. None of that bothers me at all. In fact even if it is all unadulterated fantasy crap, it could still make for some interesting posts; yet right now your posts are for the great majority not interesting at all. Your majority of posts seemingly only get replies that lambaste you. People are not replying to you thinking you are smart, but just that you are a smart arse. My guess is that most folks who use this site think you are a jerk, but that was and is not really my concern.
What concerned me was your, in my opinion, arse-hole attitude, and your seeming insistence on in essence telling people you were Mr. Gun-Know- It-All. Rather it is obvious, at least in my opinion in many instances, you don't know of what you are writing. You are lots of fluff as far as I can tell. Now I grant you that you seem to know some things, but I cannot be sure beccause I don't know much about gunsmithing or suppressor, but my lack of knowledge certainly does not verify your knowledge. There are lots of people out there who blow lots of hot air, and yes you sure seem to be one of them. You push what you claim to be your vast experience and knowledge into other people's faces like you are the only person who knows anything, this despite repeatedly being shown as quite possibly being tactically inexperienced or otherwise plainly unpractical regarding many firearms usuage, tactical and survival situations.
To me all that just makes you look like the bird-brained person I now believe you to be. Want to prove me wrong then start posting decently, and without that aire of yourself as the only person who knows anything about everything in firearms. I know that there are plenty of people in the world smarter than me, or who know more about guns than me, or who shoot better than me, or who have entered more competitions than me. (I only ever entered one and won the 3rd place trophy - not bad for my first time out heh but all those fancy guns with trigger jobs and weak springs was not for me. I use only stock out of the box guns and could not believe all the crutches you guys in competition have to depend upon.) But I digress. What I was getting at is that even my complaints about you are not really about you, but rather about your seeming sh-it-ty attitude and nasty posts. I could probably enjoy discussing what you know or don't know about guns, shooting, or tactics; and I'll bet you could enjoy it too if you let up a bit and admitted that others also know lots about the subject and that you too could learn from other people. I will gladly discuss the firearms issues with you, and I happily will do it in a way that is nice, once you start and maintain doing it nicely. clearly this fell on deaf ears - but it is spot on.
I really like the old posts bubbling up as related to whatever topic you are looking at. It absolutely highlights the surprisingly small number of topics Boati can post about. It also shows how few things he gets correct. 98% of his problems are his attitude, inability to admit he doesn't know everything, the lies about what he has thought about vs. actually done, and being unable to follow simple conventions. If he just managed to keep topics in a single thread, he'd gain a heck of a lot of credibility. If he could keep them in the correct forum, he would be on the road to respect. (would still need to stop insulting everyone that disagrees with him though.)
