If you're an outdoor type carrying a revolver, where do you carry your spare ammo?

Here's my approach:

Outdoor revolvers are usually fired only once or twice, then topped off. Speedloaders are nice but for this role they might require you to dump live ammo wastefully. Get one of those inexpensive pouches that can be closed. Uncle Mike's makes one with a hook-and-loop (velcro) top. If you carry your revolver behind your right hip, then place the pouch on your belt in front of your right hip.

A GI compass pouch works good for me.

There is a 6 round drop pouch on the outside of the Ringler holster I use the most for my Redhawk thats very convienent. I also like to use the MTM "Ammo Wallets" ,they are flat, fit in a pocket nice and carry a couple dozen rounds with no rattle and protected from the elements.

For practice and plinking, I just run the rounds out of my Dillon into a .30 cal can and scoop em' out my the handful.

If I'm carrying one fo the 629s, then I like to carry a pair of Galco 2x2x2 ammo carriers.
If it's the SBH or Vaqueros, then I wear them on a cartridge belt.
