This is my other 1873 Trapdoor. This rifle still has its cleaning rod and boyonet. My other * M1873 Springfield Trap-Door * :bomb: I also have a real nice M1888 ram rod boyonet trap-door ill post sometime.

I've always wanted a Trapdoor Springfield. In fact a wrote a novel about a young woman who had one and used it to save a man's life and make a real friend. Unfortunately the novel along with several other things precious to me were destroyed. The novel will never be re-written. Maybe the Trap some day.
