No matter how secure the mount is it is still way to high for a proper cheek to stock weld. Only recourse is then to add a cheek piece of some sort. Depending on the shooter and height of the mount he may have to either crane his head up or move the butt of the stock to a less stable position on his shoulder.
That's why most AR uppers built for serious long range shooting with a scope are flat-tops.
