Okay, I love all kinds of knives and dangerous things. Bought a copy of the OSS sleeve dagger at the gunshow a couple of weeks ago and wanted to know what you think about it. The three sided blade is unique and I think it will sharpen up nicely. It came with a cheesey cloth sheath but I can make up a neat little leather one easily.

Don't have a camera but here is a picture of the same thing on sale at Ebay. It will be available to look at through Thurs or Fri.

What do you think? Do you see any self defense value to it?

Well, yeah. Sharpen the point as much as you can. It's obviously a stabbing, not slashing weapon. Think of it like the older triangular or cruciform bayonets, stab it in and twist it around. The cross section means it will be very strong in lateral motion, and if you sharpen the point as far as you can, it'll penetrate a lot of things that you'd have trouble getting a knife through. Although with the width if the cross section, I doubt it will go through kevlar.

How long is it? I didn't see and length of the handle or blade.
