a trotline. No more to service a gill-net. Mostly just walk past the traps and snares. Big deal, you aint gonna be doing anyhting ELSE, post shtf. Inner pine bark, cattail roots are EVERYWHERE. if you can't figure out how to harvest 200 lbs of plant food a year, you are just lame.

When is the last time that you carried out these actions? Have you practiced them for any longer than a 1/2 day exercise?

Moving around making noise, leaving easily found traps, snares, etc. around for someone to set an ambush over, yeah that sounds smart.

NUTTY JOHN, the expeert trapper -- OH YEAH ... !!!

NUTTY JOHN knows absolutely nothing about trapping. Read his other trapping post and see.

Ol' NUTTY JOHN dthinks he's going to trap turtles in the winter. How dumb can one guy get.

What did you do NUTTY JOHN, find and read an issue of Fur, Fin and Game?

You've obviously NEVER tried this - THAT is a fact.

BTW, "200 lbs of plant food a year" isn't shit. That's only 16-2/3 lbs per month.

Also, take note that unless you are used to a diet of these plants, suddenly switching completely to them is extremely hard on your system. Might even ghost an old geezer like yourself, depending upon conditions.
