THINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR AT A TATTOO PARLOUR

"Eagle? I thought you said BEAGLE."

"We're all out of red, so I used pink."

"There are 2 Os in Bob, right?"

"Gosh, I hate it when I get the hiccups."

"Anything else you want to say? You've got plenty
of room back here."

"I'll bet you can't tell I've never done this before."

"The flag's all done and, you know, the folds of fat
make a nice waving effect."

Hey Steph,
You know when some swaggering guy tells you "Nah....it don't hurt none".......well Bubba was drunk, or a liar, or BOTH!!

I have a beautiful tat, gorgous red dragon I got 4 years ago, I like it more today than the day I got it.....because it don't hurt anymore!:D

So just remember, when they say it don't hurt, they lie, and once they start drawing the pretty picture and you realize you have just PAID some man to stick a needle in you repeatedly, well then it is too late to change your mind (Cuz it will look really stupid half done!). So pick out something REALLY cool and be sure you really want it, cuz it's GONNA HURT!

Actually I have one already..I have dancing bears around my ankle. The only one that really hurt was the one on the tendon. The rest, they didn't hurt. :) lol

No Way!

Mine hurt! They tried to tell me it wouldn't be as bad as I was getting it on a "Fatty area" (Breast) but the dragon curls around and up into my armpit, and I thought I would jump out of my skin! Then the jerk says "Oh, yeah, there are a lot of pretty sensitive nerve endings up in here"

hey

The pain is good. I just got my 3rd tat -- it's of a corn snake on my foot-- and I think the pain is really necessary. It made me reconsider the tattoo about a thousand times in half an hour. Heck, if it didn't hurt so much, I'd probably look like a circus freak by now.

This is SO true!! I just love my Red Dragon, but I made the mistake of having it put on my breast, and my husband just frowns on my showing it off to others!! (What a grump huh?) I've considered getting the same dragon put on my leg curling around my calf, because it is a GREAT tat.......but it hurt so bad the first time!!!

Hmm... this is making me reconsider my Gaboon viper idea... maybe I should go for something more like a house snake....
Every time my mom sees me she asks 'you don't have a tatoo, do you?'

My mom freaked when I got my tattoo. LMAO, I was 24! She asked me what I was going to do when I was 80. I responded that "given our family history, I won't remember I have it" Needless to say she wasn't too impressed with me, which is why I have not told her I just got my navel pierced.
