I bought one of these on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised by the reliability and outstanding grip on this .22. Sixteen shot magazine, ambi safety, and adjustable sights. It's a full sized gun that's a ton of fun to shoot. No mis-fires of any kind in over a thousand Mini-Mags, Remington Golden Bullet's, and Federal Auto. That's unheard of in a .22 that I'm aware of. The gun's no tack driver, my Ruger MKII will out shoot the TX easily, but for a plinker or a woods companion it's pretty neat.

Pretty cool. I’m not doing tons of gun stuff lately and never heard of that one. Sixteen rounds in a 22lr pistol is rare.

Terry - have you found any good holsters for the TX22? All I have that will fit mine is a "one-size-fits-all" thing that works ok at best. I was thinking I might use the TX22 more, and would like to have a decent holster for it.

Actually I have never ordered a dedicated TX22 Holster. After looking at the 40 some holsters I have ( a lot of ex Military ones tossed in when I bought C&R handguns) I normally just use a Gun Mate Nylon that fits it. It will also work in a Azula XL that I ordered for my CZ P-09. My Daughter got me a custom cross draw nylon/Kydex one also that fits also. Taurus is selling a Kydex IWB/OWB dedicated TX22 holster on their website catalog for $39.95 that might interest you. There's about a zillion on line, too. Taurus must have sold a lot of these guns to have every holster maker making one. Sorry I can't be more help, but new rule is no more holsters and no new calibers. I broke it last week with the Muddy River IWB for the Hellcat. The TX22 is said to be out selling the Glock 44 by three to one which probably explains all the holster choices.
