"controlable" doesnt make it so. .18second splits is controlable, like what can easily be demoed with an alloy compact 9mm SA,or with a full size and wt 1911, using ball ammo. Bozos who dont even HAVE shooting timers have no IDEA what controlable IS.
IPSC ISN"T REALITY! So where does a timer fit in tactical training? Tactical movement in a hostile area has very little to do with speed. It is very difficult to scan areas of concealment and cover for a hostile, before you enter a potential ambush site, while running like a freaken jack rabbit. If your shot placement is good with the first bullet, there is no need to waste your time worrying about splits. They are redundent.
Coming from someone who put half his rounds in the dirt (i.e. MISSING A LOT) trying to miss fast enough to win, who can't control a gun chambered in a serious cartridge, and has never been in a real gunfight, your opinion has no merit at all.
Besides, you have no idea who has what equipment, or who actually trains with their weapons.
But then, you neither train, nor have weapons, so that means your opinion of yourself must be quite a bit lower than it is of anyone here.
Maybe that's why you can't act like a human being, you hate yourself so much you have to bring derision upon yourself as some kind of self punishment.
You have a point Magnum. Controlable means hitting. Any nitwit can trigger off rounds real fast if they don't mind missing. 3 misses in .6 seconds are not as good as one hit in .6 seconds and that's a fact.
