he gave her a 5 gallon bucket full of range brass Over half of it was 223, but there were almost 2000 rds of 9mm when she separated them. There were several hundred rds of .40 short and weak and .45 ACP, a few 357 sig, .300 black out. Quite a bit of steel or aluminum cased 9mm. She sold all but a bit of the 223 and of course the .40 and .45 brass, since she has no guns in those calibers. I see crazy bastards asking 16c per rd for unpolished 223 brass and 8c per rd for similar 9mm brass. I know where there's several 55 gallon drums full of it. sitting out in the rain, being ruined.

Sound like an opportunity for a relatively easy profit. A cheap $150-$200 cement mixer from harbor freight or walmart.com, some cleaning solution and could be turned into a bunch of money pretty easy.

If I was hurting for money and had nothing better to do, yes. But neither of those things is the case (obviously)

3k a month, clear, plus SS and the boarding house clears me 30k a year, too. I"m sick of having to run the latter, tho, so I'll either sell it or pay somebody 10k a year and a free room to (mostly) run it for me. I was going to open another one, but I dont want the hassle.

for very little effort, cleaning and selling the brass would net a few bucks you spend on equipment, gold, survival stuff.

I wouldn't discount the minimal effort it would take to prep it all.

The disability thing probably is a big DQ for the alone show. They couldn't afford the medical liability.

Then, even if you could pass the medical, you'd have the problem of having the fact that you are not disabled being broadcast on TV.

This would get you in trouble with the feds.

stuff to consider in your planning.
