place where there's MANY millions of scoped, rapidfiring rifles, roads, vehicles, and many millions of pampered, beerswilling, tobacco coffee-dependent twits, with millions more elderly, kept alive FAR beyond the time they should have passed-on, sickly kids, etc, etc,. Those unfit number in the tens of millions, and will perish within mere weeks of the power's going off, and nothing can save them. It took WW2 4 years to produce 50 million dead, and they were scattered all over the world. In the US, we will have that many dead in a month or 2, if the power goes out, and we'll have as many dogs feeding on the dead humans, too. The disease potential is astounding. It would take every truck, bulldozer, backhoe, and earthmover we have, working 24-7, just to move and bury the dead, in mass graves. Nobody's going to bother, so the dead will just lay around rotting, sending lots of good stuff into the groundwater everyone's drinking.

Yeah, there is a coming economic collapse and there is a coming world war, of that I have no doubt.

There are about 293 million people in the USA at the moment, plus another 105 million in Mexico and about 32.5 million in Canada. That's a total of about 430.5 million people.

The USA had about 140 million people when it fought WWII. That means that the USA could lose 153 million people and still have the population that it did during WWII.

Will the USA drop to the current population of Canada? Maybe after a nuclear war, but I doubt it. The death and misery won't be over in just a year, either.

Keep in mind that this is a BIG continent.
