They change men once every 30 minutes, take 5 hours to get ready for their guard duty, have to sign on for the job for 2 years, can never swear in public or drink alchohol for the rest of their lives. They've never faltered once since 1930. During a recent hurricane, they were ordered to abandon their duty, for their own personal safety. They refused to do so.
