So have you guys done your bit to help support our rights as firearms owners, and to support the American retailer of firearms and ammo, as well as to support ammo manufacturers. This is National Ammo Week, and Wednesday is National Ammo Day2 - buy at least 100 rounds this week. This is the brain child of Kin du Toit who also has a great page with daily rants of a conservative leaning, Gratuitous Gun Pics (and articles) and Weekend Skin Picks (nothing nasty) but picks of Kim's favorite females, usually from among stars such as Jill St. John (a current pic). A fun web site for sure.

As for me, I started the week off with: a brick of CCI Stingers yesterday - along with a new 22 rifle. Did not get a chance today, but will get more on ammo on Tuesday. You can never have enough ammo when the serious poop hits the fan or when the fun time urge kicks in.....

Well I bought a box of .35 Remington yesterday, and bought another box of the same today (at a three dollar savings over yesterday - I see where I'll be shopping for ammo locally now).

I'll be driving upstate NY tomorrow to go hunting, and I am sure to stop at Wally World and also at a small local sporting goods store in Roscoe, NY and I'll be pcking up some more ammo then.

I used to live upstate, near Rochester. Had to get out, too many people. Don't know where Roscoe is, my dear / bear hunting areas were in the Adirondacks near Big Moose / Number 4 and in the Southern Tier near Randolph, as well as some places east of Rochester. I guess I miss the pheasant hunting, but not the crowds.

Aw man.... You should see my storage room. I have a rack on the wall filled with ammo. And I can't get to it because of the HUGE stack of .50 cal ammo cans stacked in front of it. Also with ammo in them. The last time I wanted to shoot some .44mag, I had to buy more because it was easier to buy more than to try to get to wherever I had that ammo stashed in that room.

I think my building is beginning to tilt with all the weight in that one room.....

Are you mad? If my "Gun Room" wasn't on concrete the floor would have collapsed long ago. Okay, I'll kick in my bit. 500 rounds of Remington .22's won't break me. Wait a second, 9MM Winchester White Box is going for $12.00 per hundred at Wal-Mart, and Cheaper Than Dirt has 8MM Ammunition for only $4.29 per 70. With shipping it would be smarter to get 700 rounds, and I really need some more 9X18MM, and some more 5.56MM wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm so glad you have given me an excuse.
