and because it's low MV it drops like a pile of SH*IT at long range. If you are off 50 yards in your range estimation at 600 yards, you will miss. No heavy bullet pos handload can compensate for it's inability. AR's need 20 or more inches to be flat enough, and even then, they are very prone to wind. 7.62 or better is what is needed, and that's a fact.

For a dedicated sniper rifle... maybe. But for a "you can only carry one gun" it covers all the bases it NEEDS to quite well and can be used in a pinch for some unneeded uses such as sniper fire.

bull<font color=red>[**censored**]</font> stupekid. The cut down pos 11 CAR does not have TWICE the range of the AK. The CAR is a weak pos that even the US ARMY dropped in favor of the M4. And they now admit the M4 has problems with power.

The AK, just like the CAR, is not what I consider a general purpose rifle. It's great for squad use but not below that. A true M-16 or AR-15, 20 inch barrel MINIMUM, is much better. 100 million people use the AK cause that's what they are issued, stupekid. stupekid, a 40 gr .22 bullet will slow down way way more than a 180 gr .308. That's right, dummy. The .308 load, from a .308 or 300 WM is way ahead of a pos 11 inch CAR. The CAR is trash, even the ARMY got away from it. Stupekid, you lose again.

Scoped 11" CAR, using 68 gr hpbt's, started at 2600 fps, can be zeroed at 250m, because the IRON sights handle torsos to 200m. With a 250m zero, and such a load, I can aim at the head, hit guts at 350m, dummy., that's TWICE the range at which an iron sighted AK and ball ammo is worth a crap, and you aint going to say one WORD to the guys who favor the AK, cause you are a CHICKEN<font color=red>[**censored**]</font>.
