In my geographical location the .308 and the rifle that I shoot it out of has a definite advantage. Mainly that it will work reliably between -40F and +110F. It works in both semi arctic and semi arrid regions far more reliably than the AR does. Secondly, the .308 diameter bullets is far more available than the .224 bullet in this area. Thirdly, you require a "can" as a crutch, I don't need a crutch. A suppressor is a handy piece of kit in some circumstances, but you require one under ALL circumstances. I trust in the practice that I have done with my chosen firearms. Maybe you should practice more! Fourthly, do you have any concept of the depth of preparations you can achieve if you don't have to worry about getting arrested?
