Have you even been attacked by someone from 6ft with a knife? The man with a knife may ever get you before you draw your pistol. Letting someone get that close is not wise though.

However, you have to also think that sometime you might be on the other side of the equation. You may not always be the man with the gun.

i said gun ON ya, not in the rig. Few guys can stop a charging knifeman, concealed pistol,from 15 ft, much less 6 ft. Most knife men have never even SEEN a skipping sidekick to the knee, either. what you can justify in court is one thing, and knife men's CLAIMS of deadliness is quite another. I can easily justify shooting a knifeman at 10 ft, but he cant come CLOSE to cutting a real pistolero from that distance.
