1) Quail and rabbits are not an inch in diameter, now ARE THEY? No, they are not. You don't hunt caterpillers with a slingshot. Rocks work for these critters, EVERYONE (but you) knows this, usually by the age of 12.

2) You don't have $5K.

3) My original statements were that you could kill game, like quail, with rocks, at those ranges or beyond. If YOU cannot do that, with a surgical tubing style slingshot and a rock, then you are a skilless, un-coordinated geek.

Now you guys have done it, today when I'm in town, I'm going to get some new bands for my wrist rocket (it's in my box of "artifacts" of my youth) and a bag of 000 buckshot and I'm going to shoot some of the zillion rabbits that I see during the day.

I will borrow a camara and post a photo, that yes indeed, rabbits can be killed with a slingshot.

Alot of band width would be saved if JD would have had a normal childhood.

000 buck weighs 90 grs per pellet. 22lr ammo is about 50 grs to the rd. so why bother with the slingshot, hmm? Only because you are too chicken<font color=red>*</font><font color=red>*</font><font color=red>*</font><font color=red>*</font>, inept, and cheap to make-buy a can.

I've TAKEN rabbits with slingshot, and with ROCKS, too. but it's a LUCK head hit with the latter,unless you're inside 10 ft.

Rocks, buckshot, ball bearings - who cares. The whole argument is kinda silly IMO. Not my fault if you are too inept to shoot a slingshot. Actually a slingshot might be safer for you to shoot - you probably couldn't even hit your foot with one.

No, I haven't ducked the issue of rocks as ammo. I told you 20 times that you can harvest game, like quail and squirrels, with rocks. But it doesn't take Einstein to know that marbles, ball bearings, and lead shot are better.

Can or not, legal or not, there are still laws against firing ANY firearms inside of city limits unless it's for self defense.

Practicing hunting with a slingshot and rocks is also a good survival skill and kind of fun to do while backpacking (for those of is that actually backpack for real).

You're just not happy unless you're comitting a felony (illegal can), and you've paid for that flaw.
