not HIGHLY skilled with the pistol, and at hand to hand, and have a REALLY powerful, yet controlable pistol. Because otherwise, your 357, .40, .45, etc, is STILL 90+% BLUFF. So you might as well be saving 10-20c a shot, using the .22, while you attempt to build some real speed of draw and hitting, repeatedly, on 1-2 targets, with either hand, on movers, as you move, in the dark, etc. Cause that's the reality of how pistol combat GOES. Once your "bluff" fails and the guy DOESN'T just leave at the sight of your (ready) gun, it takes a LOT of power and skill for LUCK to not be the determining factor of who wins.

u were trained POORLY. You can DRAW

with LOTS less justification than you can FIRE. If the guy moves to or otherwise indicates a cessation of aggression, or if you were mistaken in the first place, and you FIRE, you are going to prison, and get sued for everything you own, and every dime you EVER make.

Only idiots TRAIN selves to ALWAYS fire when they draw. 9 x10x, you will NOT have to fire, so DON'T make firing a reflexive thing. But then, a stupe like you can't learn anything, anyway.
