Now that's the way a senior NCO talks to a junior officer.
I was never an officer, but I remember when getting off the bus at fort benning for infantry basic, after the 2 wks 'processing' at ft. jackson. Four busloads of us, standing at a pathetic attempt at attention, around 1 or 2 a.m., January, cold, under the glaring PT field lights, our breath visible in the air, just finishing a several-hour bus ride.
An E-7 half my size (learned later, he was a vietnam vet) starts down the line towards me, and of course being an E-1 dumbass, I turn & look. He looks up at me and says, "You eyeball me again, & I'm gonna f#@k you in the ass."
Being a big dumb kid straight from the farm, I'm just thinking, "Man, dad never told me about that part of boot camp..."
