I was just wondering what the most unique target you have shot at in either competition or practice? Two years ago I shot a CAS match in a 25 yd indoor range (no shotguns allowed). It was a good match, during 1 stage you had 10 rds and 2 lit candles at 25 yds. The object was to shoot out the flame. There was a massive penalty for either missing the target or shooting the candle itself. I was using my Marlin M1894S, very accurate rifle out to 75 yds. I got both candles and still had a couple of rds left over.

Matches. Shooting at strike anywhere matches with a .22 is lots of fun, it takes practice but its fun to light em up.

Probably not very unique but we used to shoot the sawed off heads of bowling pins at 25 yards for tie breakers at bowling pin matches.
