is the TIMED cutting of a 1 x2 stake, at 9m. At first blush, it seems simple, but you MUST put each shot withing .3" of where you want it, or you can't cut off the stake. That's the same thing as geting a 1.5" group at 50 yds. You aint going to do it swiftly, with any sort of realistic sidearm, if you can do it at all. Basically, it's a luck-shoot, because you have to REALLY control the vertical displacement of each shot. Realistically, it's going to take 8-10 shots and 40-60 seconds, but nearly everyone tries to do it in less than 10 seconds, so if they get it done at all, it was by pure luck.

Its more fun as a team shoot in Cowboy action matches with a chunk of 4x4!

I like that 1x2 thing. I may have to suggest that as a range exercise to our range master.

haha, exactly.

gosh, I wonder if I could do it with an M-18?

it's like laughing at the people who practice shooting from barricaded positions. Why not just throw a grenade?

On the other hand, I guess the people with the shotguns and longarms are more likely to use them than a concealed pistol? If so, my bad.
